Struggles With OCD & Limerence
This project involved the complete creation and publication of the second edition of my personal poetry book, combining original writing, illustration, and book design into one cohesive final product. I wrote every poem in the collection and created every piece of accompanying artwork, ensuring the visuals reflected the tone and emotion of the text. My responsibilities also included formatting the interior layout, refining the overall presentation from the first edition, and preparing the book for publication. One of the main challenges was balancing strong visual impact with readability, while also revisiting an earlier version and improving it without losing its original identity. This project demonstrates my ability to manage the full creative process independently—from concept development and content creation to polished final publication.
Gathering Stones and Poems
This project involved bringing a deeply personal poetry collection to life through thoughtful design, editing, and visual storytelling. Gathering Stones and Poems was a book of poems centered on life, family, and personal reflection. My role included editing the manuscript for flow and consistency, creating custom illustrations inspired by the themes of the poems, and designing the cover art to capture the spirit of the collection. One of the main challenges was ensuring the artwork complemented the emotional tone of the writing without overshadowing the poems themselves. This project highlights my ability to work closely with an author’s vision and transform a personal manuscript into a polished, meaningful published book.
Lovesick Lobotomy
This project involved the creation and publication of my personal art book, Lovesick Lobotomy, an 80+ page collection showcasing my original illustrations and creative style. I was responsible for every stage of production, including curating the artwork selection, designing the page layouts, formatting the interior, creating the cover, and preparing the final files for publication. The book was designed to present a cohesive visual journey while highlighting each piece individually. One of the main challenges was organizing a large body of artwork into a professional, visually engaging format that felt consistent from cover to cover. This project demonstrates my ability to manage a full-scale creative publication independently, from concept development to finished printed product.
